The Deputy General Manager, Abia State Orientation Agency (ABSOA), Ure Abazie, has made an assurance that that Governor Alex Otti’s efforts in proper waste management in the state would be further enhanced.
The DGM, who gave this assurance while receiving a delegation of Dr Alex Otti Support group in her office, thanked the group for their support to the Governor Alex Otti led- government by organizing a ‘Waste Disposal Awareness Campaign (Abia Must Be Clean)’ thereby fast-tracking the Governor’s agenda in waste management.
A statement by Chidinma Jane Benjamin, Information Officer, ABSOA, said Abazie further assured of partnering the groups in the upcoming awareness campaign and subsequent programmes that are geared towards promoting the agenda of the present administration.
Earlier in their separate speeches, the Executive Secretary of the group, Chile K-M.I (Esq) and the Director for the Awareness Campaign, Prof David Uduma stated that they are seeking partnership with the agency and informed of their upcoming waste disposal awareness campaign which is scheduled to hold on the 16th of May, 2024 at College of Health Science and Technology, Aba.
They thanked the DGM for receiving them and prayed that partnership and support continue.
