Food and Beverage West Africa exhibition now to hold Sep 1 – 3

The organizers of the Food and Beverage West Africa exhibition have announced that the 2021 edition will now hold from September 1 – 3 2021. It was initially scheduled for June 16-18.

In a notification to exhibitors, partners and other stakeholders, they said the postponement  was due to the growing cases of the covid 19 pandemic which would make it difficult for a lot of participants to attend.

“It is after careful consideration and after extensive consultation with our exhibitors and partners, that we have taken the decision to postpone the Food and Beverage West Africa exhibition to September 1 – 3 2021 from the previously scheduled dates in June 2021. The exhibition will continue to be held at the Landmark Centre, Lagos, Nigeria.

“With the increasing number of cases across many parts of the world, and the resulting difficulties that will be faced with international travel, it would have made the exhibition impossible for a large proportion of our international exhibitors to attend in June. We believe, very confidently, that this postponement of two months will provide time for billions more people around the world to receive the vaccination, and for restrictions of international travel to be relaxed significantly.

“The current situation in Nigeria continues to show improvement with case numbers continuously, and significantly, reducing on a weekly basis and the vaccination programme now has been rolled out across the country. We are in contact with the relevant Nigerian authorities to ensure we continue to deliver the event in a safe and business conducive environment. We also take the health and safety of our visitors, exhibitors, and all in attendance very seriously and will be implementing the ‘All Secure Standard’ at the event which is in line with the global framework for the safe reopening of exhibitions.

“Should you wish to register your attendance for the exhibition, please follow the button below. Please be aware that all existing visitor registrations will be transferred to the new September dates. You do not need to register your attendance again.”
