Zacch Adedeji advocates enhanced capacity building among Commonwealth tax administrators

The Chairman of the Federal and Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and the President of the Commonwealth Association of Tax Administrators (CATA), Zacch Adedeji PhD, has called for increased capacity building to strengthen Tax administration processes among members of the Association.

He made this call while addressing members of the Association at a meeting on Wednesday, April 24,2024 in London, United Kingdom.

He explained that expanding the capacity of tax personnel of CATA member countries would empower them to deal with the challenges that have negatively impacted the tax administration landscape globally.

Adedeji commended member countries that have agreed to host the Association’s programmes in 2024, indicating the importance of cooperation among member countries and the commitment to executing the strategic plan set to assist the Association.
